Product update: September 2024

We’ve rolled out a bunch of new features and improvements that will make your experience with Twice a whole lot smoother. Sometimes even small changes can make a big difference. During the last month, these “small things with a big impact” have guided our work.

This edition includes rich text editor that allows you to format product descriptions to improve readability and communicate the different features of your products in ways other than long walls of text. Moreover, we introduce several improvements to simplify and speed up using Twice.

Rich text editing for product descriptions

Formatting your online store’s product descriptions just got a whole lot better as we’ve now added rich text editing capabilities to product descriptions.

This long-awaited improvement will allow you to enhance the readability and categorize the product description content by using headings, line breaks, bold and italic text, bullet and number lists, etc.

The formatting will be automatically adopted in every sales channel your store uses, including:

• Online Store and embeds
• Check-in Kiosks
• Payment links

Introducing Hotkeys & New Command Menu

We’ve rolled out two exciting updates to streamline your workflow:

1. Save Changes with Hotkeys
2. No more clicking the save button! Now, whenever a save banner appears, simply press Ctrl + S (Windows) or Cmd + S (Mac) to save your work instantly.
3. Command Menu for Quick Search
4. You can now effortlessly search for orders, products, categories, and almost anything across your TWICE Admin. Access the Command Menu by:
5. • Clicking the search icon in the status bar
   • Using the shortcut: Ctrl + K (Windows) or Cmd + K (Mac)

Both updates are designed to make managing your store smoother and faster.

Order numbers are now visible for easier tracking

We have made the #ordernumber visible on the order overview and individual order pages. A small improvement makes finding and recognizing orders based on the order number easier (instead of the customer name).

• The order overview page shows the number on each order card’s top-left corner above the customer name.
• The order number on an individual order page appears as the first row in the right sidebar.

Account

New navigation and settings structure

Navigating and finding the right place to adjust your store and account settings just became easier.

We have been aware that finding the right settings has been unnecessarily difficult. So, we started improving the navigation structure. Now everything is:

1. Easier to find and clearer to understand what the setting is about
2. Behind fewer clicks
3. Not interrupting what you were doing

For the most part, it's just restructuring and UI changes. However, we believe that together, these small improvements will result in a significantly more pleasant user experience.
