Defining add-on recommendations for each product

Relevant accessories or additional services are a great way to improve customer experience and grow sales. With TWICE, it is easy to auto-recommend products during customers' shopping.

Add-ons and accessories can enhance the customer experience and increase average order value. TWICE Commerce allows you to define add-ons for your products and recommend them to customers during the shopping process.

What is an Add-on?

An add-on is a supplementary product or service offered in addition to the main product. For example, a ski rental shop might offer helmet and goggle rentals as add-ons to ski rentals. A camera store could offer lens cleaning kits and memory cards as add-ons to camera purchases. An event rental business might offer delivery and assembly services as add-ons to equipment rentals.

Defining Add-ons in TWICE

  1. In your TWICE Admin, navigate to the Products section.
  2. Select the product you want to add add-ons to.
  3. Head over to the Settings tab
  4. Select the add-on products using the search field in the Product recommendations section.
  5. You can also specify the display order of the add-ons.

Add-ons in different Sales Channels

Once you have defined add-ons for a product, they will be displayed as recommendations in various sales channels:

  • Online Store: Add-ons are displayed before the checkout.
  • Admin Orders: When creating an order in the TWICE Admin, you can easily add relevant add-ons to the order.
  • Check-in Kiosk: Add-ons are displayed during the check-in process, allowing customers to add them to their order.
