What is Channel-Specific Pricing?

Channel-specific pricing allows you to set different prices for the same product based on where it's being sold (e.g., online store, in-person sales, self-service kiosks). This strategy helps you maximize revenue and adapt to different customer expectations and operational costs across channels.

Benefits of Channel-Specific Pricing

  • Optimize Revenue: Adjust prices based on channel-specific costs and customer behavior
  • Improve Cash Flow: Offer incentives for online bookings to secure advance payments
  • Stay Competitive: Match or beat competitor pricing in specific channels
  • Balance Demand: Encourage customers to use preferred sales channels through strategic pricing

Setting Up Channel-Specific Prices

  1. Navigate to your Product Catalog
  2. Select the product you want to modify
  3. Open the Pricing tab
  4. In the Channels column, select the channels where the line price in the price table is valid.
  5. If two different prices are offered in different channels for the same duration, duplicate the row and configure the sales channels and prices according to your policies.

Available Sales Channels

  • All Channels: Default pricing is applied across all channels
  • Admin: Prices for orders created through your Admin Dashboard
  • Online: Prices for your online store
  • Self-Service: Prices for in-store kiosk orders
  • Hidden: Prices are not displayed in any channel. Use, for example, when running sales campaigns.
