Making bulk edits to your inventory

The easiest way to make bulk changes to the inventory data is to export the inventory data from TWICE to CSV and make the changes in spreadsheet software. In addition to editing the data, you can make use of the tables when you import your inventory into TWICE for the first time. The same principles apply to both.

1. Export Your Current Inventory

1. Navigate to the Inventory section
2. Click the "Export" button under the Articles tab
3. Save the CSV file to your computer

2. Edit Your Inventory Data

1. Open the exported CSV file in your spreadsheet software
2. Make your desired changes. You can update:
   • Article ID
   • Article status
   • Store location
   • Purchase price and date
   • Product specifications (brand, model, etc.)
   • Allocation (for rent/for sale)
3. Save your changes and maintain the CSV format

3. Import Updated Data

1. Return to the Inventory section
2. Click "Import" under the Articles tab
3. Select your updated CSV file
4. Review the confirmation screen showing all updates
5. Confirm to apply changes

Important considerations

• Always review changes before importing
• Keep column headers unchanged
• Maintain the required data format for each field

If you encounter errors during import:

1. Check for missing required fields
2. Verify data formats match requirements
3. Look for duplicate entries
4. Review error messages in the import preview
