Adding comments and notes to an order

The Comments and Notes feature in TWICE Commerce allows you to document important information about orders and share it with your team so that information is not in one person's head or on sticky notes.

Understanding Comments and Notes

Comments and notes are internal messages visible only to you and your team members. You can add them at two levels:

  • Order level: Comments that apply to the entire order
  • Customer level: Comments specific to individual customers within an order

How to Add Comments

Adding a Comment to an Order

  1. Navigate to the Orders page
  2. Select the specific order you want to comment on
  3. Look for the comment icon in the right panel
  4. Click the icon to open the comment field
  5. Type your comment
  6. Click "Save" to attach the comment to the order

Adding a Comment for a Specific Customer

  1. Within the order details view, locate the customer card
  2. Find the comment icon on the customer's card
  3. Click the icon to open the comment field
  4. Enter your comment
  5. Click "Save" to attach the comment to the customer

Identifying Existing Comments

  • A small green dot next to the comment icon indicates existing comments
  • Order-level comments appear at the top of the right panel
  • Customer-specific comments show on individual customer cards

Best Practices

  • Keep comments clear and concise
  • Focus on the relevant information
  • Update comments when information changes
Important: Never include sensitive customer information such as social security numbers or credit card details in comments, as this violates GDPR laws and security best practices.
