Setting Up Stripe Payments

Integrate Stripe with your Twice Commerce account to efficiently manage your rental, resale, or subscription transactions. This guide walks you through the setup process step by step.

Prerequisites

Before starting, ensure you have:

  • A registered Twice Commerce account in a supported country
  • Basic business information ready (legal structure, tax details, banking information)
  • Authority to set up payment processing for your business

Integration Steps

1. Access Payment Settings

  1. Log in to your Twice Commerce dashboard
  2. Navigate to Settings → Payments
  3. Locate the "Third-party Providers" section

2. Connect Your Stripe Account

  1. Click "Connect Stripe" in the Third-party Providers section
  2. Enter your email address when prompted
Note: TWICE requires creating a new payment account in Stripe through the Payment Settings. If you operate multiple business units or need separate accounts for different purposes, you can manage all these under one user account on Stripe's end. 3. Complete Business Profile

Fill in the required business information:

  • Legal business name
  • Business type/structure
  • Tax identification numbers
  • Banking details for payments
  • Business address and contact information
Important: Ensure all information matches your official business records to avoid payment processing delays.

4. Test Your Integration

Before going live:

  1. Create a test transaction
  2. Verify the payment appears in both Twice Commerce and Stripe dashboards
  3. Confirm the payment settlement process works as expected

Troubleshooting

Common issues and solutions:

Connection Failed

  • Verify your internet connection
  • Ensure you're using a supported browser
  • Clear your browser cache and try again

Business Verification Issues

  • Double-check that all entered information matches official documents
  • Ensure submitted documents are clear and valid
  • Contact Twice Commerce support if verification is pending for more than 2 business days
