Managing multiple store locations

Learn how to efficiently manage multiple physical and online store locations in TWICE.

Overview

Twice Commerce's multi-store management capabilities allow you to operate multiple locations while maintaining independent control over each store's operations. This guide will walk you through setting up and managing multiple stores efficiently.

Note: Multi-store management is available on Advanced and Enterprise plans only.

Getting Started

Setting Up a New Store Location

  1. Navigate to Settings > Store Locations in your Twice Commerce dashboard
  2. Click "New store"
  3. Fill in the Store Name and create a new store location.

Once you have created a new store, you can customize several settings on the store level. In the settings, under the 'Store' section, you can define:

  • Contact information: Physical address, email address, and phone number
  • Sales channels: Define the sales channels of the store location (Admin, Online, Check-in kiosk)
  • Business hours: Define the opening hours of your locations one-by-one or set them to use your default business hours.  
  • Emails: You can control the automatic emails sent to customers from each store and customize their content.
  • Documents: You can also customize the order confirmation document per store.

Managing Inventory Across Locations

Viewing Inventory by Location

Go to Inventory and use the 'Store' filter above the inventory table. You can view local stock levels at both the article and SKU levels.

Transferring Stock Between Locations

Select the article you want to transfer using the check box on the left side of the table. You can move articles one by one or transfer articles in bulk by checking multiple rows.

From the modal at the bottom of the page, click on the 'Actions' button and select 'Change store'. Then select the store where you want to move the articles.

User Management

Go to Settings > Users & Permissions

When adding new users, follow the configuration steps in the modal and send an invitation.

To edit existing users' roles and access, click the 'Edit' button for the user you want to edit.

Reporting and Analytics

You can view sales and performance metrics per store by heading over to Settings > Business insights and using the 'Store' filter above the dashboard.
