Using TWICE in your language

This guide explains how to configure language settings and manage multilingual capabilities within the TWICE Commerce platform.

Adjusting the language settings in TWICE allows you to customize your experience and manage your store in a language you're comfortable with.

Changing Your Main Language

The primary language is the default language for creating content in the TWICE Admin App.

Default Settings

When you first create your TWICE account, English is set as the default language. However, you can easily change this to your preferred language with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Account > Languages
  2. Select your preferred language from the dropdown menu
  3. Click Save Changes
Important: Without any additional languages enabled, your main language will be the default for the TWICE Admin area and your sales channels.

Enable Multiple Languages

  1. In Settings > Account > Languages, find the "Enabled Languages" card
  2. Click "Manage Languages" and select additional languages by checking the boxes
  3. Click Save
Note: The number of available languages may vary based on your subscription plan.

User-Specific Language Settings

Individual team members can set their own display language:

  1. Click the user icon (top right)
  2. Select "Preferences"
  3. Choose your preferred language from the dropdown
  4. Save changes

Best Practices

  • Set your primary language before configuring your store settings
  • Enable additional languages based on your target market needs
  • Ensure all team members know how to set their preferred language
  • Review automated messages and email templates in each enabled language
